Study abroad information sessions are held during the first few weeks of each semester. Look for the email from the Office of 出国留学 to reserve a spot.

Harvey Mudd students study abroad during their junior year. As you partner with your study abroad advisor, you will identify program options that best meet your needs.

Meet with a 出国留学 Academic Advisor

So you’ve selected your program! 的 intent to study abroad form (PDF) should be submitted the semester before you plan to submit your Harvey Mudd study abroad application.

提交 Harvey Mudd College Application

Due the semester before you plan to study abroad; application deadlines are as follows:

  • Fall Semester Deadline: February 15
  • Early Spring Semester Deadline: April 15*
  • Regular Spring Semester Deadline: September 15

*的 early spring deadline is for spring partner programs that have early deadlines (including deadlines before September 15).

Once the 出国留学 Committee (SAC) approves your Harvey Mudd College application, you are eligible to apply for the program. Make sure to pay attention to the program application deadline.

学生 should begin reviewing their HSA portlet a year before submitting their HMC application to ensure that it is current and that they are on track to meet all HSA graduation requirements.  在11月, those who wish to study abroad in the fall must have the approval of their plans from their advisor and ensure that progress toward meeting HSA requirements is on track.  Those who wish to study abroad in the Spring must have this approval by April.
